Proposition

• From the largely expanding use and success of Social Networking sites, I feel that Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia would benefit by giving each of their users a better feel for the site by allowing them to further customize their user page. Though I do not mean to the degree of such site like MySpace and Facebook, but at least to allow its users to upload 1 or maybe 2 photos of their choice for them to put on their pages to not only give them a sense of owner ship for their pages, but to give them a better feel for the identity they wish to present themselves as that maybe matches their dueling style or alter ego, etc.

• If this was to be allowed, none of the images you've posting on your user page, as they were all copyrighted. (see wikipedia:User page#Images on user pages) Either way, allowing for any kind of personal images for a user page, has been discussed before. It's deemed bad practice, as it encourages to come here to create home pages and social network rather than add to the main content of the site. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:05, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

• I dont fully disagree with you neo's which was I wrote, and i quote, "Though I do not mean to the degree of such site like MySpace and Facebook" to imply the idea that this is not a networking site but still should have some of the implications of one since you allow your users to create a "user home page." As far as copyrighted imagery goes, not all images are copyrighted and even those that are will not lead towards Wikia being held liable as long as said image is not portrayed in a way that generates Wikia income of any sort. -- Zenomus 05:58, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
