Automate edits

Hello!
This seems an account to perform automated edits. There's nothing inherently wrong with that as long as you request for permission and provide proper info about the user operating the bot, which you haven't. I'll be blocking this account until this is sorted. You can read more about other cases, for examples.

Hi,

I created an account separate from my main account (MiSsInGnO) per the instructions at https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Special:BotPasswords.

I created it so as to mass-import data about the cards present in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Duel Academy (GX1) videogame after I noticed that the current list was missing most of the entries (about ~60% of the cards are missing).

I had not realized that this required special permission beforehand. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

I'm fine with closing this account down if necessary. I'm also interested in any information you may provide about how to handle such mass-imports (are these usually done by hand? in my case, I used a simple script to automate the process)

You don't need to close your account and your automated edits are fine, in terms of content.

They are just flooding the logs unnecessarily. You could create a Forum page similar to the ones I linked above, requesting for this account to be flagged as a bot account, just for visibility of the community.
