It is spam. Look at the phrasing. It's like an advertisement for the place. That is not what this Wiki is for. I'm changing it back to a redirect. Danny Lilithborne 06:10, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, and what about the Yu-Gi-Oh! Virtual Desktop page on Wiki?

It's not an advertisment, its information with a link. If you think some part of it thats is 'advertising' then edit it. Whats the point in having any reference to the game at all? Adding more information about something thats already on Wiki is spam? Sure....

  • Why is anything more than what's already there required? The List of Yu-Gi-Oh! online games page was made as a direct result of DME/DMU spamming/flaming each other on this Wikia. There is really nothing important to talk about regarding either one on this Wiki other than YGO can be played there. This Wikia's supposed to be only about official YGO sanctioned stuff, so the fact that there's anything there other than Yu-Gi-Oh! Online is a gift.

Virtual Desktop has a page because it's the most common way people play online. I don't even use it myself. I would prefer to see relevant stuff merged and the article made a redirect myself. Danny Lilithborne 19:49, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Ok so i tried to merge it with that one page, as you just said. You still edited it and killed all the information i put in it.

Why is more information needed? Well why not? Wiki is supposed to be about information is it not. I dont believe that you only support 100% YGO sanctioned stuff, since there is a Fandom catagory is there not? We have a YuGiOh Online Games section, so ive kept the brief added information in that 1 page... yet thats still not acceptable.

How do you know YVD is the most common way people play online if you dont play it yourself? Last count (just a normal average day) there were over 100 people connected to Duel Monsters Unlimited accross 3 servers. I wouldnt say that was insignificant.

I'm at a loss as to what you have against putting a few lines of text about a community run game, "not much else to say" well evidently there is or i wouldnt be trying to write it, and you wouldnt be removing it. It's not like im trying to write 'DMU RULEZ ALL OTHER GAMES ARE TEH SUCKS' im simply putting some information about what the game has to offer. Thats so bad it warrents editing to remove information and keep it brief? Even on a page thats there anyway? So you can have a page with useful information on it, or a page thats pretty spare and pointless....Um what? RobHague 21:57, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

  • I'm going to have administration review the changes to the article, but I don't think the pictures are necessary. Also one of your mooks already tried to vandalize the DME section, so I can see this is going to end well... Danny Lilithborne 05:56, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Ok, sounds reasonable. Though to be honest i didnt add anything much, other than the pictures from BYOND i just put what game format they all used (since DMO is Traditional). Also, what are you talking about? I dont have mooks >.> so what are you trying to imply? If some random person decideds to edit a Wiki page its not my fault, and i resent the implication that its somehow related to myself. Besides, if someone wants to vandalize that page they dont have to wait for my edits, they can make their own? Can't you just lock it from editing? RobHague 13:40, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
