RE:Need help ("Gladiator Beasts"/"Skill Drain")
I'm sorry, could you be more specific?
"Skill Drain" only negates an effect if the monster generating the effect is face-up on the field when the effect resolves.
- Example: "Skill Drain" is active. "Dark Armed Dragon" activates its effect, and nothing else is Chained. When resolving the effect of "Dark Armed Dragon", "Dark Armed Dragon" is still face-up on the field, so its effect is negated.
- Example: "Skill Drain" is active. "Exiled Force" activates its effect, and nothing else is Chained. When resolving the effect of "Exiled Force", "Exiled Force" is not face-up on the field (it's in the Graveyard or "Removed Zone"), so "Skill Drain" will not negate its effect.
- Example: "Skill Drain" is active. "Dark Armed Dragon" activates its effect, and "Book of Moon" is Chained to flip "Dark Armed Dragon" face-down. "Book of Moon" resolves first and flips "Dark Armed Dragon" face-down. Then, the effect of "Dark Armed Dragon" resolves. At this time, "Dark Armed Dragon" is not face-up on the field, so "Skill Drain" cannot negate its effect. "Dark Armed Dragon" destroys the card.
For the "tag-in/tag-out" effect of "Gladiator Beast" monsters, they are returned to the Deck as a cost, so they are not face-up on the field when their effects resolve. It is the same as the example with "Exiled Force" above.

- Correct, as long as "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" is face-up on the field when its effect resolves. See the examples with "Dark Armed Dragon" above. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 03:16, November 4, 2009 (UTC)
How about prohibition and bestiari????? can I special summon a bestiari ???
- About "Prohibition", see Card Rulings:Prohibition:
- A declared Monster Card can be Special Summoned from the Deck, Graveyard, or Removed Zone. If this happens, the Monster Card's effects are not applied, and it cannot attack or change its battle position manually. Any maintainence costs must still be paid.
- You can Special Summon "Gladiator Beast Bestiari", but you cannot attack with it, you cannot change its Battle Position, you cannot use its effect, and (due to another rulings) you cannot send it to the Graveyard to Special Summon a "Contact Fusion" monster like "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus".
- About missing the timing, it does not work if you have the two different "Gladiator Beast" monsters tagging out. This is because when multiple "Gladiator Beast" monsters tag out, each effect uses a separate Chain. So, let's say that you have "Gladiator Beast Equeste" and "Gladiator Beast Darius" out.
- First Chain
- Chain Link 1: "Gladiator Beast Equeste"
- (Players may add additional Chain Links. You cannot add the effect of "Gladiator Beast Darius", since the "tag-out" effects of "Gladiator Beast" do not form a Chain. Assuming nothing else, resolve backwards)
- Chain Link 1: "Gladiator Beast Equeste" Special Summons "Gladiator Beast Murmillo".
- Second Chain
- Chain Link 1: "Gladiator Beast Murmillo"
- (Players may add additional Chain of Links. You cannot add the effect of "Gladiator Beast Darius". The effect of "Stardust Dragon" may be activated at this time, since there is no effect on Chain Link 2.)
- Chain Link 2: "Stardust Dragon"
- (Assuming nothing else, resolve backwards)
- Chain Link 2: "Stardust Dragon" negates the activation of the effect of "Gladiator Beast Murmillo" and destroys it.
Chain Link 1
- Third Chain
- Chain Link 1: "Gladiator Beast Darius"
- Etc.

RE:Roid
Read the sentence again:
- The Fusion Monster Special Summoned by this card cannot be destroyed by the effects of Spells, Traps, and Effect Monsters, and its effects cannot be negated.
"It" is referring to the Fusion Monster. The Fusion Monster's effects cannot be negated. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 20:08, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
Decks for Free!
Your Flamvell Assault Mode deck is done (finally). Sorry for taking so much time to complete the deck. I think it is a good deck, although it is unorthodox. -bewk 22:35, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
Re:Stardust Flamvell
- Three tuners are plenty.
- The Searcher/Recruiters are really nice in this deck. You use them to get Zombie Master out fast, and keep your hand/field presence. Remember that the searcher cards are viable targets for the effects of other searcher cards.
- In this deck, beatdown counts as monster removal. Your Stardust, Barbaros, and Synchros in general, will completely overpower your opponent.
- Skill Drain has no effect on Stardust Dragon. For the first effect, Tributing Stardust Dragon is a cost, so Stardust Dragon is not on the field and is unaffected by Skill Drain. The second effect activates in the Graveyard, so Skill Drain cannot negate it.
- Rekindling is rarely a dead draw. You search out Summoner Monk with a Mystic Tomato, and then use it's effect to summon Flamvell Magician from your deck. You then synchro Monk and Magician for a Stardust, then normal summon a monster and activate Rekindling to synchro again. Firedog searches out more Flamvells, so you will never be without a Flamvell in your graveyard. There is a 28% chance of drawing it on the first turn, and it still won't be a dead draw. If Rekindling does become a dead draw, you can use it to fuel Summoner Monk.
- There is a one in four chance of drawing an Assault Mode Activate or Assault Beast on the first turn. That is pretty good considering you probably won't get SD/AM out on the first turn. There won't be any lack of Assault Mode Activate in this deck. Assault Mercenary is not worth a card slot in this deck.
I forgot to tell you how essential Zombie Master is in this deck. He is so essential that I put several searchers just to get it out on turn two. With it, along with Zombie World, you can get out many synchros in a few turns by repeatedly reviving Magician. Sorry for not being clear enough in my original post. All you have to do is test the deck to see how powerful it really is. -bewk 21:43, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
- No, because they will be destroyed often, and if one becomes dead, you can always pitch it for Monk. -bewk 02:02, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
- I would have to see your entire decklist in order to help you. Why don't you put it on the Decks for Free! I will help you with that, as I am great with GBs in my opinion. -bewk 04:23, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
I can remake the Assault Mode deck if you want. If you are not happy with the deck, I am not happy. Also, I am almost finished fixing your your GB deck. -bewk 05:10, February 2, 2010 (UTC)
Decks for Free!
Your GB deck has been revised by me. -bewk 22:25, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Could you leave some sort of feedback on my GB deck fix? -bewk 22:21, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
