This card's Japanese name ("Big Jaws") has a double meaning: 1) Its name can literally allude to the appearance of the mouth. 2) The name can allude to the infamous shark franchise of the same name.
In the anime, this card's attack is called "Big Lance" and it is not removed from play after attacking for some reason.
