- Use this card in a "Batteryman" Deck. Special Summon copies of "Batteryman AA" and activate "Short Circuit" once you have 3, effectively negating this card's drawback effect.
- This can also be used in an XYZ or VWXYZ Deck to gather the pieces on the field faster. You can't make up for the card disadvantage this creates as easily but if you use "Volcanic Shells" and "Pots of Avarice" to keep reloading "XYZ-Dragon Cannon"'s effect it can be done.
- This card can be helpful in any deck that focuses on swarming, such as "Six Samurai" or "Blackwing" decks.
- This card can quicken the speed of getting out a "Gladiator Beast" fusion monster, most usefully "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus".
- Best used when your opponent is handless; therefore, you would be the only one to Special Summon.
- You could also use it to Special Summon a monster and Xyz Summon Vylon Disigma. After that, equip the monster your opponent Special Summoned to this card.
