- Before it was named "Dragon Master Knight", it used to be called "Ultimate Dragon Rider".
- This card and "Five-Headed Dragon" currently have the highest amount of original ATK and DEF points.
- "Dragon Master Knight" is the strongest LIGHT monster in the game.
- "Dragon Master Knight" is among the two strongest Dragon-Type monsters in the game, alongside "Five-Headed Dragon". They are both also the strongest Fusion Monsters in the OCG & TCG.
