Weekly Shonen Jump promotional card polls are polls run by Weekly Shonen Jump to determine which card to make the next membership promotional card. While the cards are only distributed in North America (and thus are not legal in other territories until the card is released there), the polls are not region locked.
The polls have participants choose between several cards that have never previously been printed in the TCG. The polls often reveal tentative names of the cards, and occasionally, tentative lores.
List of polls
Shonen Jump
Shonen Jump held a poll on the Shonen Jump site from October 2007 until January 15, 2008.[1] The poll results were only used to assist Shonen Jump's staff in selecting cards and did not guarantee the final selection. Participants could submit a ranking of their five most preferred cards from the list of 20, as well as provide a 280-character description of why they chose those cards. The card to choose between are as follows:
- Arcana Knight Joker
- Armityle, the Chaos Phantom
- Beast King Barbaros
- Big Saturn
- Card Blocker
- Chimeratech Fortress Dragon
- Cold Enchanter
- Dandylion
- Exodius, the Ultimate Forbidden One
- Fiendish Motor Ω
- Goka, the Pyre of Malice
- Greed Quasar
- Ice Blizzard Master
- Mosaic Manticore
- Puppet King
- Splendid Venus
- Summon Priest
- Toy Magician
- White Night Dragon
- Zeta Reticulant
Of these cards, only four were ultimately released as Shonen Jump promotional cards: "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord" (May 2008), "Dandylion" (February 2009), "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" (March 2009), and "Beast King Barbaros" (May 2009).

Trivia
- For the fourth Shonen Jump Alpha membership promotional card, Shonen Jump made a post on their site and a thread on Pojo, where they took comments on whether to release "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet Heaven's Strings" or "Number 88: Gimmick Puppet Destiny Leo" as that card. The comments were only used to get a general idea about the desire for the cards, rather than to count number of responses favoring each.
