- This card has five counterparts: "Monster Reincarnation", "Miraculous Rebirth", "Symbol of Heritage", "Symbols of Duty" and "Xyz Reborn".
- This card was Forbidden for seven formats before becoming Limited once more, which was longer than any other card before "Dark Hole" and "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" surpassed it with nine and twelve, respectively.
- "Call of the Grave" and "Call of Darkness" specifically counter this card. As a result, "Monster Reborn" is the only Yu-Gi-Oh! card with 2 counter-cards mentioning it by name.
