- In the anime, it only inflicted 700 points of damage to its controller's Life Points each turn and this effect activated during his/her End Phase.
- In the Japanese anime, this card's Attack name is "Golem Volcano". However Joey Wheeler decided to name the attack himself and called it "Jonouchi Fire".
- During episodes 126 and 127 Yami Marik used this card against Joey Wheeler by Tributing Joey's "Jinzo" and "Baby Dragon". Joey uses it to attack Marik and it inflicts damage to Joey over the course of several turns. It's eventually tributed along with "Panther Warrior" and "Rocket Warrior" to summon "Gilford the Lightning".
