OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Flamvell Firedog" is a Trigger Effect.[1]
- This effect does not target.[1]
- This effect can optionally be activated at the end of the Damage Step in which "Flamvell Firedog" destroyed an opponent's monster by battle and sent it to the Graveyard.[1]
- This effect cannot be activated if "Flamvell Firedog" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.[1]
TCG Rulings
- If this monster battles a monster with the same ATK and both are destroyed at the same time and sent to the Graveyard, you cannot activate its effect.[2]
- If this monster destroys “Embodiment of Apophis” or “Metal Reflect Slime” by battle and sends it to the Graveyard you cannot activate the effect to Summon a monster.[2]
