- This card may have been what the Crystal Beasts crystalizing effect was based on. Though this card has somewhat of an opposite effect, special summoning to the field when destroyed in the spell and trap zone.
- "Toy Magician" is the only "Monster Card" that can be set as a Spell Card.
- This card resembles "Wind-Up" monsters and works well with their support regardless of not being one.
