The Core Chimairs are a family of Monsters that will be released in Raging Battle.
Most effects of these cards are targeted to send Core-Chimair's Steel Core or a monster from the same Type from your hand to the Graveyard (Except for Core Chimair Valafar which doesn't give a monster sending option). Also, if the controller doesn't send any cards from the above, that Core Chimair is destroyed. This disadvantage can become an advantage when facing against an Alien Deck which rely on changing the controller and having your opponent's monsters as your own.
The main strategy of the Core Chimairs is "Anti-Meta" - A Deck build which oppose the popular Decks that are played. For example, Core Chimair Dragon's effect was designed specially to oppose Lightsworns and Dark Armed Return Decks for their Swarming capabilities.
