Use the effect of "Swap Frog" to return "Substitoad" to your hand, so "Des Frog" can be Tribute Summoned by Tributing "Swap Frog". Use your "Des Frog" to Special Summon 2 more copies from your hand or Deck. Then activate "[[Des Croaking]]", clearing your opponent's field for a direct attack: 1900 + 1900 + 1900 + 1800 + 1800 = 9300.

  • This monster is an alternate Tribute fodder for "Treeborn Frog" at "Monarch" Decks, as long as there are some "Frog" monsters sorted in at the Deck.

Traditional Format[edit]

  • This card is vital for use in "Frog OTK" Decks:
    • Begin by having on your field a "Substitoad" (either from your hand or via "One for One") and one other monster. Tribute the monster with the effect of "Substitoad" to Special Summon a "Swap Frog". Use its effect to send a "T.A.D.P.O.L.E." from your Deck to the Graveyard. Tribute this "Swap Frog" for a second "Swap Frog" and use its effect to send your second "T.A.D.P.O.L.E." to the Graveyard. Then Tribute your second "Swap Frog" for a third "Swap Frog", this time sending this card to the Graveyard. Banish one of your "Swap Frogs" to Special Summon this card. Tribute it for "Beelze Frog" and do that again for the second "Beelze Frog". Use the effect of "Swap Frog" to return "Substitoad" to your hand, so "Des Frog" can be Tribute Summoned by Tributing "Swap Frog". Use your "Des Frog" to Special Summon 2 more copies from your hand or Deck. Then activate "Des Croaking", clearing your opponent's field for a direct attack: 1900 + 1900 + 1900 + 1800 + 1800 = 9300.
