Any chance you could find the full field sprite for King Tiger Wanghu? Latest revision as of 03:09, 7 May 2011

A while back, someone posted up some links to a collection of Tag Force card artwork. I was wondering if there was a similar stash for monster sprites for the DS World Championship games. Anyone have any info on this? 66.228.109.2 (talk) 16:27, April 7, 2011 (UTC)

I was going to do them when the break from Uni starts; which would be... very soon actually. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 22:50, April 7, 2011 (UTC)

Start

So there's just over 2000 monsters in WC10. However, I'm going to prioritise the images which show more of the monster than it does on the actual OCG/TCG card.
So I've been sorting them and currently there will be 501 to be uploaded initially, 847 where the OCG/TCG card shows the full monster (so I probably won't upload these), 670 where the WC10 sprite doesn't show the full image of the monster (less than or equal to the OCG/TCG card artwork, so I probably won't upload these either) and 29 unknowns.
By unknowns, I mean images where I don't know the name of the monster. It's easier to directly extract images than to screenshot them one by one (and extracted images have no background), however the downside to that is that they don't have actual names. So I had to rename each of them.
Anyways, here are the 29 monsters which I can't remember; anyone who can provide the correct names to them would be awesome. Click -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 08:05, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

A2 is Reborn Zombie.
A3 is Cyborg Doctor.
B3 appears to be Servant of Catabolism?
C2 is Backup Warrior.
C3 seems to be Howling Insect.
D2 is Lava Dragon.
E1 is Pursuit Chaser.
E3 is Swamp Battleguard, it seems.
E4 is Goblin Decoy Squad.
F1 is Jinzo 7.
F2 is Phantom Skyblaster.
G2 is Moisture Creature.
H2 is Great Spirit.
H3 is Naturia Stinkbug.

There are a few I have seen before, but I cannot remember their names... --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 08:23, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

A1 is Samurai Sword Baron.
D1 is Maniacal Servant.
F3 is Reptilianne Spawn, or to be precise, the token.
C4 is Cyber Raider.
B4 is Grappler.
B2 is Whiptail Crow.
E3 looks more like Battle Steer.
D3 seems to be the Needle Token generated by the effect of Cactus Fighter.

That's all I know. I recognize C1 and E2, but I can't remember their name. Order (talkcontribs) 08:29, April 14, 2011 (UTC)

Ok. Changing the Layer Filters can filter the images without the background, but if it's a regular screenshot, I can clean that up too.
If it's a full body image, and is from WC10, you can use the 'Upload a new version of this file' button at the bottom of File:KingTigerWanghuVG-WC10-EN-NC.png, and I'll clean it up there.
If it's from another game, you can upload it from to a corresponding name similar to that. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 00:00, May 7, 2011 (UTC)
