I'm not sure either of these duels happened. For the first, he says that Banner lead him to the Abandoned Dorm, where he was forced to duel. My assumption was that he was dueling another student selected for the same "test", not Banner himself. For the second one, I'm not sure it was ever stated that a duel was what incapacitated him, though I suppose that's a fair assumption to make.
