- This card is the upgraded version of Speed World.
- Inflicting 1000 or more damage no longer remove's Speed Counter's from this card.
- Daedalus Bridge is featured on this card's artwork.
- In the anime, the effect is: "If you activate a non-"Speed Spell" Spell Card, take 2000 damage to your Life Points." However, in the video game, the effect is: "Spell Cards other than "Speed Spell" Cards cannot be activated."
- Despite not being able to destroy, or remove Speed World 2 from the field during a Turbo Duel, a player can negate its effect, as Shooting Star Dragon was able to activate its own effect and negate Speed World 2's effect to destroy a card on the field.
- On a similar note, the damage inflicted by Speed World 2 can be negated or deflected, as Jack Atlas reflected the damage with Crimson Fire and Crow Hogan had his Black-Winged Dragon absorb the damage
