- Call of the Mummy is absolutely essential in a Zombie Deck. The fact that it will allow you to Special Summon high level Zombie monsters from your hand on your 1st turn without a cost other than the fact that you must have no monsters on your side of the field makes it a formidable card.
- Given that you have the proper cards in your hand, it is possible to use this card to bring out Vampire Genesis by Special Summoning Vampire Lord, and then Tributing him, and you can still perform a Normal Summon.
- The strongest monster that this card can summon is Despair from the Dark, at 2800 ATK, making it valuable indeed.
