The most common combo is to equip it with "Dragunity Phalanx" and "Couse", that can Special Summon themselves from the Spell/Trap Zones. If the effect of "Barcha" is used to equip a monster like "Dragunity Arma Mystletainn" or "Dragunity Knight - Luin", this card's second effect can be used to Special Summon that monster and potentially set up another Synchro Summon. In a mid-to-late game, "Barcha" can even equip itself with a Synchro monster.
- The same can combo can be used with "Luin" instead of "Barcha", and "Luin" can equip any "Dragunity" to itself, not only Dragons or Tuners.
