- This is not a Guardian monster, since its Japanese name 「Ｅ・ＨＥＲＯ クレイ・ガードマン」 or "Elemental Hero Clay Guardman" does not contain "Guardian" 「ガーディアン」.
- "Elemental Hero Clay Guardian" has the highest DEF out of any level 4 monster, and is the only Elemental Hero from the anime that has never been made to an OCG or TCG card.
- This monster's DEF is equal to the combined sum of the ATK and DEF of "Elemental Hero Clayman".
