- As its effect suggests, this card is very effective against Decks that rely on Spell Counters.
- This card can also do very well to go against Arcanite Magician for it increases its ATK by 1000 for each Spell Counter on them AND it can't use its effects either.
- If you're running a Spell Counter Deck and have a high number of spell counters, you should keep this card set on the field in case your opponent synchro summons "Tempest Magician". Simply chain this card to her effect that allows her to drain your spell counters and inflict Burn damage. You may even gain hand advantage if your opponent first discards several of his/her cards to place spell counters on the field!
