- This is the first "Warrior" Synchro Monster to not require a "Synchron" as its specific Tuner.
- This is the Cover Card for Limited Edition Pack 17.
- This card and "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" are the only primary Ace monsters used by a main character that don't have 2500 ATK (In both the anime and manga, Yugi uses "Dark Magician", Jaden uses "Elemental Hero Neos" starting with the second season of the GX anime, while he uses "Elemental Hero Terra Firma" in the manga, and Yusei uses "Stardust Dragon" in the anime.) Coincidentally, both cards have the effect of inflicting burn damage.
