Mako Summoned this card as part of his opening move. After destroying Joey's Parasite Paracide and attacking him directly, he Tributed this card to Summon Amphibian Beast.

In the original manga, it was an Effect Monster that was apparently able to negate Trap Cards, for it survived Joey's Chasm of Spikes.
