- This card can be searched by "Xtra HERO Infernal Devicer", "E - Emergency Call", "Elemental HERO Stratos" "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist", "Xtra HERO Cross Crusader", "Evil Mind", "Fusion Dispatch", "Fusion Conscription", "Fusion Reserve", "Generation Next", "Kid Guard", "Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights", "Iron Knight", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Link Party", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "The Trojan Horse" and "The First Monarch".
- This card can be very effective if you decide to go for an OTK. If you have "De-Fusion" in hand, try using this card to fusion summon "Elemental Hero Core" or "Vision Hero Trinity" and attack, then use the De-Fusion to resummon this card with 2600 ATK, as well as two other monsters. Combine this with a quick "Super Polymerization" if needed to summon a fusion monster again to attack and you have yourself a good strategy.
- You can use the effect of "Elemental Hero Blazeman" to send this card to the graveyard and give "Blazeman" the 2600 ATK points of "Bladedge", then use "Call of the Haunted" to easily summon "Bladedge".
- Combine with "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" and "Bubble Shuffle" to summon without Tribute, plus putting a monster on your opponent's side of the field into Defense Position, will allow the piercing ability to work to its full potential.
- The effects of "Elemental HERO Necroshade" or "Destiny HERO - Dasher" can help summon "Elemental HERO Bladedge" without Tribute.
- Use "Micro Ray" on your opponent's defense position monster to inflict full ATK damage.
- If you Fusion Summon using cards like "Miracle Fusion" and "Fusion Gate" that remove Fusion Material monsters from play, this card can be Special Summoned by the effect of "Elemental HERO Voltic" after being used in a Fusion Summon. This gets around the two Tributes required to Normal Summon it.
- "Hero Counterattack" can cause your opponent to lose a monster and then have to stare at this powerful monster as well.
- Use "Hero Mask" to treat "Elemental HERO Bladedge" as "Elemental HERO Avian" then use "Feather Shot"
