- This card works great for summoning "Dark Armed Dragon" when you don't have exactly 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard.
- As the artwork suggests, this card is great for summoning "Elemental Lord" monsters if you do not have exactly 5 monsters of the corresponding Attribute in your Graveyard.
- Special Summon a "Meklord Emperor" monster or "Relinquished", then equip it with an opponent's monster to get some use out of it, before it's shuffled into the Deck.
- This card can be used to Special Summon a drawn "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode". Not only will it be a 3000 ATK wall that is unaffected by card effects, but, if a card effect is activated during the opponent's turn, before "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode" should return to the Deck, you can activate its effect to Tribute itself to negate it. Due to the wording on the card, the effect of "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode" that Special Summons it back is a legitimate method of Summoning, allowing you to keep it on the field instead of shuffling it back into the Deck.
- Use a card such as "Call of the Haunted" to revive "G.B. Hunter" during the opponents's turn to prevent the monster Special Summoned with this card from returning to the Deck.
