• Tribute cards like Black Ptera and Sinister Serpent, so that you will always have a monster to Tribute.

• Crystal Beasts work well with this card, as they can be treated as either a Monster or Continuous Spell.
  • Also because Rainbow Dragon could be one of the fusion material monsters.
• Use Rainbow Neos' last effect with Transmigration Break, to remove from play all cards from your opponent's Graveyard.

• The quickest way to get the Material Monsters for this card is using Rainbow Path for the Rainbow Dragon (or Rainbow Dark Dragon) and E - Emergency Call or Summoner's Art for Elemental Hero Neos. Elemental Hero Prisma can also stand in for Neos.
  • Elemental Hero Neos Alius might be a good alternative to Neos, as it is more easily summoned and is a decent beatstick, which Crystal Beasts are somewhat lacking in.
    • You can also use Elemental Hero Stratos to search for Neos or Neos Alius.

• If you plan on using this card, you may as well also include in your Extra Deck some copies of Elemental Hero The Shining, Elemental Hero Absolute Zero and Elemental Hero Gaia. Gaia can be summoned with any EARTH-monster and an Elemental Hero (and several Crystal Beasts are EARTH-attribute) and Absolute Zero can be summoned by fusing Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise with any Elemental Hero, Elemental Hero Great Tornado with Crystal Beasts Cobalt Eagle and Sapphire Pegasus and Elemental Hero The Shining can be used with Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle. This isn't limited to fusing them with Neos, either - the above-mentioned cards, Elemental Hero Prisma, Elemental Hero Stratos and Elemental Hero Neos Alius can also all be fused, so this will increase the flexibility of your deck and prevent dead draws.

• This card's effect to return all cards in the opponent's Graveyard works exceptionally well against opponents who rely on Graveyard effects, such as Destiny Heroes, Dark counterparts (particularly Dark Armed Dragon), Zombies, and others.

• Future Fusion is an excellent way do summon Rainbow Neos very early in the game, without going through all the trouble of having to search out its components.

• Use this card with Assault Armor since you can tribute one monster on your side of the field to make all of your opponent monster back to his/her deck. Then, send Assault Armor From the field to the graveyard. So you can perform an OTK if your opponent doesn't have any Spell/Trap Cards that destroy monster such as Mirror Force, Sakuretsu Armor, etc.
  • Heavy Storm and Giant Trunade can ensure your path is clear.

• Use this card and UFOroid to summon UFOroid Fighter with Power Bond and Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment to get it's ATK to 11400.

• Using this card with Honest will make for a guaranteed 4500 damage when you attack or are attacked.

• Using this card's third effect with Exchange of the Spirit you can win the duel.

• This card does extremely well in twilight decks.
