Beast-Types are often overlooked, but go well with Beast-Warrior Type monsters. Some Beast-Type monsters include Behemoth the King of All Animals, Mad Dog of Darkness and Thousand Needles.

In Japan, they are a very viable strategy, almost singlehandidly because of Forest Guardian Green Baboon Aqua, Beast, Beast-Warrior, Creator God, Cyberse, Dinosaur, Divine-Beast, Dragon, Fairy, Fiend, Fish, Illusion, Insect, Machine, Plant, Psychic, Pyro, Reptile, Rock, Sea Serpent, Spellcaster, Thunder, Warrior, Winged Beast, Wyrm, Zombie
