Hi, i am currently making a new Venom deck and i have Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes. It's just really hard to normal summon him, because i have to tribute 3 monsters for it.
So i though maybe i can pull him out of the graveyard with a Call of the Haunted after i discarded him from my deck... I was planning to use Snake Rain for it (send 4 reptile-type monsters from your deck to your graveyard) and then Return him.
Do you guys think this is a good way of special summoning this card ?
-note-
I do not own Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes. So i'm not sure if i should stick with Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes if i don't even have Vennominaga...
Please advice me on this subject.
thanks, Erik
You only need to tribute 2 monsters to tribute summon him. To easily Summon him, try Damage = Reptile. Falzar FZ 11:34, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, i was confused with his stronger and more expensive sister about the 3 tributes, hehe. And i completely forgot about Damage = Reptile... I think i'm going to insert that into my deck :>
And it's not bad to have a King in my deck without a Deity ? Ragcage 13:34, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
- It can get quite powerful if you use cards like Snake Rain and Skreech, so I don't see why not. It can be summoned with Damage Condenser as well, just so you know. The Horror'Speak if you dare 18:30, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
Limit Reverse is an easy way to bring him back from the Graveyard. Plus, if you do decide to make a pair out of them, you can simply switch the King to DEF mode in order to kill him, fufilling the requirement for the Deity.--Akiza Izayoi 23:43, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the tips, the Horror and Akiza Izayoi. I think i'm going to look for an extra king for this deck, cuz i think i'm finally aware of his potential xD He's really strong, and quite easy to special summon. I'm definitely going to use Limit Reverse once i own the Deity, but that might just take a while...
And Damage Condenser... What do you think, should i put in an extra Damage = Reptile or a Damage Condenser ?
Damage = Reptile because you don't need to discard 1 card and it's continuous (meaning you can use it more than once). Falzar FZ 07:43, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, i know... That is definitely better.
But there is one down side, you need to have a reptile on your side of the field in attack position, and sometimes you don't have any mosters in your hand (atleast, i do xD(but that might be because this deck is not finished yet)
