Now, after watching the recent episodes of 5D's, I just couldn't help but want to make this forum. Now I realize this arc is meant mostly for Yusei, Jack and Crow since this is more of their department (Turbo Dueling tournament), but I think that the other main characters, Aki, Leo and Luna, are being severely underused. I mean, I haven't seen an episode that included them in weeks, even months perhaps. Not to mention that the amount of stand-alone times they had is way below the amount the guys had. Heck, I swear even Kalin/Kiryu has more screentime than them. Is anyone else feeling the same? That the writers need to use the other characters more, or is it just me? While we're at this, feel free to add any episodes from this arc that you liked/hated the most. IMO, episode 72 was epic, it had good music, nice flow of the episode, decent duel and brought out a good amount of character development.PoirotH 17:35, January 25, 2010 (UTC)

I'm getting kind of tired of seeing Yusei duel all the time. I understand that he's the main character and all, but it's kind of boring to see him being brought down to 100-1000 LP and then summoning Stardust Dragon and winning the duel. Plus there's the whole Accel Synchro Monster thing that the writers seem to have forgotten (I believe they left off before Crash Town with Yusei wanting to learn to use Accel Synchro Monsters or something along those lines). --Blue (Talk) 20:39, January 25, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, and about the Crashtown arc. I can understand that Kiryu played a major part in Jack's, Crow's and Yusei's lives, but was it really necessary to do 7 episodes of it? I think 4 would've sufficed just fine.PoirotH 20:48, January 25, 2010 (UTC)

Personally, I was crossing my fingers hoping that Team Satisfaction would come back together and enter the WRGP as a team, hopefully with Aki. I really love Kiryu, and the Infernity are my favorite Archetype in the game. And yes, I do agree with the total point of this topic. Aki, Leo, Luna, and Kiryu need more screentime.--Akiza Izayoi 00:27, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

Eh. The main plot with the Infinitys and Accel Synchros inches along like a sleepy caterpillar. The brief asides are ok at best: Aki getting her duel runner licence was cool, I Like the Jack episodes mostly because their funny and I liked his duel with with his doppleganger, Though I would like to see more episodes with Leo and Luna because I see a lot of good duelist potential in them but we haven't seen it yet, however every episode with Crow was pointless. Crashtown was good but not great, a card game anime like old west flick with Kiryu's return and some awesome new Infernitys is a good thing. The latest one with Z-ONE perked my interest for the main plot again, and the next one is another Crow one... Overall it's ok, but kinda hard to compare it with the epic Dark Signer arc, also I prefer the Last Train - The New Morning intro song to FREEDOM (I also have Last Train on my ipod). --Azure Knight-Zeo 03:43, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

Totally agree that the Dark Signer's arc was better; at least it showed more teamwork between all of the main characters, instead of just the 3 here. Now it seems like it comes back to the original status quo of Yu-Gi-Oh, the 3 main guys duel, while the rest only stand, watch and cheer. It's getting rather tedious and repetitive. But, I haven't given up complete hope. I still believe there is a chance for the main female, Aki, to make a better impression in future episodes.PoirotH 05:19, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

It's good that the Crashtown arc ended. While I felt that it had dragged on for a little too long, its satisfying ending evens out its unneeded length. It was pretty damn awesome each time Infernity Death Gunman came into effect - it's all "you, stop right there." --Gadjiltron 11:33, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

I do agree that the Infinity plot with the WRPG is barely moving at all. And I loved the Crashtown arc. My favorite parts were probably when Kiryu was shot down by Gatling Ogre and flies backward, his LP dropping to 0, but he gets back up calling himself a God of Death, and is surrounded by the Infernity Zero aura. Also, the part when Kiryu chases down Lotten, and finishes him off with Infernity Death Gunman.--Akiza Izayoi 18:21, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

Man, I really want those two Infernitys, Death Gunman and Zero. However sadly they won't be coming in The Shining Darkness :(. Well there's always Duelist Revolution... --Azure Knight-Zeo 18:43, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

I'm getting rather bored with seeing only Yusei, Crow and Jack having all the action. The start of the arc was OK, then the quality started to decline around the Crashtown arc, where in my opinion the writers made it heavily clear that the other main characters are now back-row material AKA the regular cheerleader squad. I thought for once that they would finally put the characters on equal ground based on the Dark Signers arc, instead they returned to the same routine, with focus on the main protagonist, the rival and the underdog. I've had enough of that, thank you very much. This arc wasn't entirely bad though, there were some episodes I liked that didn't make me fully give up on this series, but still makes me wish that the WRGP would end soon. Overall, I would call this (in Comic Book Guy's words) THE. WORST. ARC. EVER.92.80.40.213 09:02, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
