- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Super Solar Nutrient", "Botanical Girl", "Violet Witch", "Lonefire Blossom", "Sylvan Cherubsprout", "Where Arf Thou?", "One for One", "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing", "Giant Rat", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Naturia Sacred Tree", "Rose Paladin" and "Chirubimé, Princess of Autumn Leaves".
- After Special Summoning this card, you can Special Summon "Pinecono" from your Graveyard. Add a Level 1 monster for a 3-monster Rank 1 Xyz, or alternatively, use this card and "Pinecono" for "Slacker Magician".
- Use "Treeborn Frog" or "Level Eater" to avoid using up your hand or a Normal Summon. With a big enough hand, you could use "Unknown Synchron" or "Boost Warrior" instead.
- This card, along with its partner, is good for a "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" deck, providing defensive walls while adding Plants to the grave for Amaryllis.
- "Acorno", along with "Pinecono", make excellent Tribute fodder, as they Special Summon each other through their effects, freeing up your Normal Summon for the turn. Thus you can summon a powerful monster almost right away, possibly giving you Field advantage".
