- This card name refers to Dyson sphere, a hypothetical technological megastructure that encircles or encloses either a star or a star and its solar system, designed to harvest a sun's vast energy to benefit the people living within the Dyson Sphere.
- This card's numerical value, 9, could possibly be a reference to the nine major bodies of our Solar System (The sun and the eight planets).
- This card's number could refer to it being the ninth WDC Number.
- This card is the first and so far the only Rank 9 Xyz Monster.
- This is the fourth single digit "Number" - the first being "Number 7: Lucky Straight" and second being "Number 6: OOPArts Atlanthal", and the third being Number 8: Heraldry King Genome Heriter.
- This card, Lucky Straight, and Atlanthal have Rank equivalent to their respective numbers.
- This Numbers has an eye on each side of the outer panels on his right and left making it seem like "Number 9: Sky Canopy Star - Dyson Sphere" is a face structure.
- This card will be the seventh "Number" played by the Tron Family. The others are IV's "Giant Killer" and "Heaven's Strings" and III's "Shark Drake", "Machu Mach", "Atlanthal", and Tron's "Number 8: Heraldry King Genome Heriter".
- This monster has 5 panels, which could be a reference to the name of it's owner.
- This Number's sealed form resembles a meteor with its panels covering it. It then slowly spreads out it panels to reveal its whole form.
- It is the first Xyz Monster in the anime where none of the Xyz Materials flying around it.
- In the anime, this monster creates a black hole (which suck in all matter) to negate attacks, and then creates a white hole (which are said eject matter) to make its own attacks.
- This cars is perhaps the first number as well as one of only a select few Xyz monsters that let you reattach Xyz materials.
