Forbidden (archetype)
Revision as of 23:19, 9 June 2013 by Cascadingoath (talk) (Including "Christian mythos" is both redundant in the same line as well as can be viewed as offensive to those who are actually Christian by calling their faith a 'mythos'.)

"Forbidden", known as "Prohibited Holy" (
So far, all the "Forbidden" cards focus on manipulating monsters' ATK points and card effects, either by granting monsters immunity or by negating their effects.
Trivia
- Despite the Grecian theme and appearance of each of the cards' artwork, the inspiration behind the series could come from the holy 3 most notable relics in Christianity; the Holy Grail ("Forbidden Chalice"), the Spear of Longinus or Spear of Destiny ("Forbidden Lance"), and the Seamless Robe of Jesus ("Forbidden Dress").
- It is very likely that the woman featured in each card's artwork represents Pandora of Greek mythology.
