- This monster appears in the artwork of "Break the Cycle".
- This card may be named after Cercyon, a Greek mythological figure, or Kerykeion, an alternative name for Caduceus.
- The other staff that this monster is holding is Caduceus, the symbol of commerce.
- It is the evolved form of the staff that "Constellar Rasalhague" holds.
- This card has a parallel effect to that of "Constellar Sombres", in addition to flipped stats. In addition, it seems to be the "Evilswarm" version of the aforementioned monster, as it has very similar characteristics, such as the horns, wings, and stars that look similar to the one seen on most "Constellar" monsters.
- This is the only "Evilswarm" monster whose ATK does not end in 50.
- This monster appears to be carrying the "Gishki Aquamirror".
- This monster may be a corrupted grown-up version of "Constellar Rasalhague", as seen with his face helmet and the Caduceus/Rod of Asclepius along with being the same Type as its previous form.
- The orbs orbiting this monster are the orbs from "Evilswarm Bahamut", "Evilswarm Ophion" and "Evilswarm Ouroboros".
- This monster and "Constellar Sombres", are the result of the gathering of power to defeat the threat of "Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth" depicted on "Constellar Star Cradle". This could explain why "Evilswarm Castor" is shown on that card, and why Rasalhague looks like it.
