The Regional Duel Monsters Championship are mentioned as being a lower stage than the National Duel Monsters Championship, and are usually the considered qualifiers to the National Tournaments.

History

Yu-Gi-Oh!

The Regional Championship was won by Weevil Underwood in the English version of Yu-Gi-Oh! (In the Japanese version Weevil won the Japanese National Duel Monsters Championship).
