In the OCG and the TCG Advanced and Traditional Formats, Limited (制限 Seigen) cards are cards that players are allowed only one copy of in their Main Deck, Side Deck, and Extra Deck combined.
These cards are Limited as of July 1, 2016 for the OCG, and August 29, 2016 for the TCG Advanced Format.

Anime/manga
During Battle City, it is stated that players can only have one copy of "Monster Reborn" in their Decks. This influences Yami Yugi and Yami Marik's Duel, where Yami Marik is forced to recycle his only copy of "Monster Reborn", in order to revive "The Winged Dragon of Ra".
