Re: Hello![edit]

rofl, thanks for the welcome :3

A fanfic author? By coincidence I have an account there too ._. Sad part is it is the first time I've heard of your story, though I haven't looked at many 5D's fics (only one to date was one crossing over with GX), so that would be why. Though, it sounds interesting, I'll take a look at it :D (Not sure if I should wait for the rewrite or not though XD)

Nice talking to you too XD Hello Link 21:06, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Card Trivia:Pseudo Space[edit]

I've replied on the talk page. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:02, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Chances are it's probably there but I haven't seen it, since the mail server for my last e-mail is kinda dead, and I didn't check my inbox on the site last time I was on o.o Hello Kitty? いいえ!It's Hello Link :3 15:16, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Nice to Meet You! =)[edit]

Hey, Psychid, nice to meet you too! =D
I must say I'm confused about how you can be old and new at the same! =/
I wish you best of luck with your writing, I may check it out some time =)
Indeed, I am from Arabia! (From Saudi Arabia to be exact!) Where are you from?
It was great talking to you too! -- Melik el-Al'ab 13:32, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

LOL, in America! xD

If you're wondering about the date, it's because we are several hours ahead... in Arabia ;P

Yes, technology is truly mind-boggling (or mind-blastng, ifyageddit)... God bless Japan =]

Now, should I subscribe now, or wait 'till your remake comes out? ;) -- Melik el-Al'ab 00:26, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Hello![edit]

Hey Psychid45, nice to "meet" you, it's good to here from someone on Yugioh.Wikia (obviously not many people come across my page, I'm not exactly popular). I'll check out your fan-fic, unfortunately I don't belong to any of the other websites though I was considering the card creator thing for Yugioh. I do below to the Super Mario.Wikia, lol.. :\

Anyway, do you want to duel via IRC channel? Or if you have Windows Live or Hotmail we could just do it over instant messenger there.

Talk to you later, thanks for the message!! Black rose27 02:49, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

Ah, I see, I was just curious. Never knew there was such a thing, I'll have to go on it sometime when I'm bored..

The IRC Channel is just a place go yu-gi-oh.wikia users to duel each other, it's sort of like IM. If you want to go on, just look at the search bar and keep going down, you'll see it a few bars underneath.

Don't mention it, I'll let you know when I've looked at it. Ok, I'll make that edit in just a second. Black rose27 02:04, September 3, 2009 (UTC)

P.S. - just curious; how did you come across my page?? Not many people do, lol.. Black rose27 02:51, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

Tag Team Dueling[edit]

Hi, I created an IRC Channel today for Tag Team Dueling (only). Please type /join ##yu-gi-oh-tag-team in the chat bar. I'd like to get this started, so please let others know about it. Thanks. Black rose27 06:16, September 5, 2009 (UTC) P.S. For more information, visit my User Page

Your message[edit]

I just recently got back here, so I'm checking my page out, see what's new. My school has blocked all the yugioh RP sites I go to, so I'm relatively angry as I type this, so please don't get mad at me if I seem to cuss or something. I did get the messages you sent me and I'm intrigued. I'll say more when I'm at my house. Aki Izayoi 17:11, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

I did say that, but I logged on BYOND and 4got all about this. I write a little here and there, but since I've got a lot of things going on right now, there isn't a lot of time I have free.

DSQ's Reply[edit]

Sorry for cluttering your user page. *bows* I'm still getting used to this. But you can place my replies onto the talk i did with my user page here.

Anyway, It's okay that you didn't reply in a long while, I'm used to that from my account. ^.^

A Message of Thanks[edit]

Thank you so much for the warm welcome, Psychid. Although I've been on this site for longer than you think. I've only just created the account recently, and have been correcting adding details to the site for a little over three years now, mainly because I was editing what people were adding to the article on Hopeless Dragon Decks, which is the deck that I run in real life. I was also the person to include the Morphtronic Deck page, seeing as though I created the deck. (Random N00b: Y@ r16H7 Yu Bl00f1|\|!!)

Likewise, I also have a account, along with a DeviantArt account. I also hope you get the chance to read some of my works. I regret to say that I have no idea what Total Drama Island is, seeing as though I have no contact with the United States of America. (I'm from the Philippines! Random N00b: L0LWHuT W3rz d@t?)

All that aside, I'm glad to finally (and officially) be here.

Signed, Khamz a.k.a. DarkScytheQueen

Of course we can be friends, why else would I be replying to you? ^-^

When I meant posting, I meant posting them on the Card Maker wiki and linking them here, like you did. Regrettably, they won't be up for a while, since i still need to draw them out, post them on DA, go to and create them. I did use some of them in the final chapter of one of my stories though.

About the message, I will look into it...once I know what Total Drama Island is...but, as a warning, I'm not that particularly interested in stories that don't have action-oriented plots. Romance, Slice-of-Life & Comedy ONLY stories don't appeal to me.

I'll be posting more personal information once I feel comfortable with posting on the site. As for other sites, unfortunately my inner patriot leads me to post heavily on Filipino sites, specifically the Official Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Philippine Forums

From what I see from the constant rewriting of stories that you're not that motivated in writing fanfics...neither am I until recently...I fear that my fanfics will be on Hiatus until College slows down a little...da*n AH1N1 virus screwing with the school schedule, I'm supposed to be on Term break by now!!! [/whine]

Re: Banned User Template[edit]

A number of people who get banned are trolls. They're interested in how people react to their behaviour, rather than the mess that they're making. They want people to pay attention to them. It's best they just get blocked and left alone after that. I don't think we need a template to point out whose been blocked. If it's to laugh at them and alert the community of them, that's really giving them what they want. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:44, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Re: "Welcome" Template[edit]

If you want to create your own personal one. i.e. one where the tone matches your own personality and gives your personal advice, you can create one at "User:Psychid45/Welcome" (or something similar, provided it starts with User:Psychid45/). When using it, type {{subst:User:Psychid45/Welcome}} on the new user's talk page. Once you click "save", that will automatically change to whatever is on User:Psychid45/Welcome. -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:37, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Salutations![edit]

Sorry, I couldn't think of anything very interesting for the outline, anyway:

  • I'm a dude
  • I'm 12, 13 on September 16.
  • I'm a twig. I'm tall, yet I also don't have the bulging biceps some poeople expect.
  • My favorite shows are Yu-Gi-Oh!, all of them too, but I dislike certain parts of it: Duelist Kingdom, Kaiba's second tournament (I forgot what it was called, but where a bunch of really cheesy duelists show up to try to take on Yugi), GX season 2-3, and 5d's, well it hasn't been going on long enough for me to seriously hate a part of it, but I'm sure with 4kidz, that will be soon. Probaly when the murders start in season 2. I also like Mythbusters, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and George Lopez (the comedy series, not the talkshow). I can relate to you liking Total Drama and Glen martin, though I lost interest at Total Drama Action (What the heck...?) and Glenn Martin was so rapidly made that they stopped being funny, but I still treasure the first episode.
  • I can take insults pretty well, but when people act likes jerks for no reason/a stupid reason, I'll get involved. I dislike people who are sexist/racist/partial/stubborn to the point of stupidity.

Like you, I am also an author, though, being my age, I haven't published anything yet. I do Roleplay quite often, which is close enough to writing for me. I don't have enough time in my day for anything specaticular/bestselling/award winning. I also play Soccer, Basketball, and all Racket/Raquet sports. Though Soccer is my favorite. GO SPAIN!

I hope we become good friends, and if you ever want to Duel me, then just let me know ahead of time and I can arrange it, and I'm also trying to build my name as a Deckbuilder, so if you have any problems, I'd be more than happy to help you.

Thanks a lot for the welcome =D

I actually didnt expect such a large welcome from such an important user on this wiki o.O

I started editing articles as an unregistered user by adding some italian card descriptions that haven't been added yet (because I'm italian ._. ) Then I decided to register because it was free and it was cool >;D

And now I'll continue adding italian names to cards and italian descriptions that have been missed because I like it .-.

And because I want to search cards by writing italian card names

so I have to add that names and then search that card

but before that, I need to find the english name card D:

Maybe I should just stop talking .-.

Thanks again for the welcome! =)

Thanks *-*[edit]

Thank you very much ^.^

I need some time to learn all the codes of this wiki.

For now, I've learned how to place my signature .-.

Hope to see you again ;)

Re: The Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction - One of my Own[edit]

Why do you want to start a new wiki, rather than continue contributing to the other one? But if you want to, content submitted onto Wikia is Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported. This means you can copy content someone has saved on one of Wikia's wikis, but you must give attribution to the original editors. See the boxes at the top of Template:Navbox and Template:PortalOmni for example. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:08, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Re: If it's alright with you...[edit]

You're asking if copying it from one wiki to another is okay?

  • Short answer: It's fine.
  • Long answer: Facts can't be copyrighted, but how they're presented can be. Like how no one can copyright saying that the sky is blue, nobody, not even Konami can copyright saying the following cards are Limited... The presentation we're using is just putting them in a list and bolding some. That's too trivial to be copyrighted.

P.S. There's a small typo in your signature. You've linked to Special:Contributions:Psychid45 rather than Special:Contributions/Psychid45 -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:28, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

RE: This may be a bad time to ask, but...[edit]

Quote from the announcements:
"We now have a process for nominating editors for adminship! Please visit Yu-Gi-Oh!:Requests for adminship to review current requests or start a new one."
Nothing stops you from nominating yourself to start things off (since barely anyone seems to nominate other people; probably because they don't know if the others want to have access in the first place)
Just fill in the form, and answer the questions, and then people will say if they agree or disagree. Good luck ;)
As for the welcome template. I've seen other wikias with a welcome message being automatically made when a new account is created, I'm not sure if they're effective in encouraging more contributions or not (but it should), but major(ish) changes like that should by discussed on the Forum:Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki Community Discussion first.
If it's just a manual welcome message which you want to , you can easily create it anywhere in your userspace and e.g. '{{subst:User:Psychid45/Welcome}}' it. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 01:12, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

Hi, Psychid. The link you provided for the English name of Number 69 in your move summary does not work. Could you provide the actual link, please? I'd like to get this sorted out. Thanks, Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 20:31, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

Archetypes and series[edit]

Psychid, are you aware that archetypes and series are not the same thing? Members of a series need to fit a theme; sometimes it is name-based, but more often than not there are other requirements, such as being used by a single individual. The "King" series, for example, are cards used by Jack Atlas in the manga. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 15:39, September 23, 2014 (UTC)

moving card pages[edit]

When you move them, be sure to move any subpages such as card gallery tips, etc. along with it. If you don't, your move will be reverted, which it was for gungnir. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 15:53, January 8, 2015 (UTC)

Ban Lists[edit]

Just want to thank you for keeping them up-to-date! --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 04:28, March 21, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Psychid, when you split a list into OCG and TCG versions, instead of creating both from scratch and marking the original for deletion, please rename the original list as appropriate and convert/update it for one of the new lists (for example, if the original list was for the OCG, move it to the OCG title). Thanks! ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:26, March 24, 2015 (UTC)

"Not archetype" template[edit]

Please do not insert the {{Not archetype}} template with anime-only archetype exclusions for OCG/TCG cards. You should only note that for anime cards. This still means you can note OCG/TCG archetype exclusions for OCG/TCG cards, but not anime cards. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 16:36, March 25, 2015 (UTC)

Why did you ignore my warning? Not even that, but you added a series exclusion ("Mask" is not an archetype...) for "Mask Change" and "Mask Change II"; you shouldn't even be doing that, since that template is only meant to be used for archetypes. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 16:26, March 28, 2015 (UTC)

Moving card pages[edit]

Hey, as a heads-up, if you move card pages, you have to rename the associated pages along with it (Card Gallery, Card Tips, Card Appearances and Card Trivia are examples). No one wants to go back to look for the original name of the card and do that, like I did for Humpty Grumpty. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 15:39, April 11, 2015 (UTC)

You've been warned about this before, Psychid. If it happens again, your mover right will be removed. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 20:56, April 11, 2015 (UTC)
It's not easy to forget either. Green boxes pop up after you move the page, giving you quick and instant links to move the other sub-pages. Only the original mover will be able to move them easily, however. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 20:58, April 11, 2015 (UTC)

Ban Lists[edit]

Just alerting you of this change, as I'm unsure about it. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:47, April 15, 2015 (UTC)

Hello Psychid45, regarding with the latest banlist, why is that Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning is not on the list. Last I checked in the TCG it was Limited but I don't know in the OCG. Can you please update it. Thank you. Gomer1234 (talkcontribs) 02:24, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

Forbidden/Limited lists[edit]

I'm not sure if the February page you just published is going to stick. Did you actually read the relevant Konami article ( It's not a new version of the "Forbidden & Limited Cards List". Rather, it's called the "Adjusted List". Maybe brainstorm ideas on how you might want to organize such a thing on the Wiki, since we still haven't documented it yet. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:11, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

Thinking of ideas on how to organize the "Adjusted List" pages on the Wiki, as well as their contents. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:51, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Changing Statuses?[edit]

No. The Konami article explicitly said this was "a new idea called the Adjusted List." The May 2008 F/L list was similar, but it affected all events (including local tournaments), as opposed to the Adjusted List only affecting most events (but not all). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:02, February 8, 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, my above answer only referred to the 2nd question you asked me. Your first question is more difficult. "Unlimited", "Semi-Limited", "Limited", and "Forbidden" are terms that can be applied to cards in the F/L Cards List AND cards in the Adjusted List. So, I'd try to find a way to document both lists on those "statuses" pages. Then when the new TCG F/L list comes out, just remove the Adjusted Lists from those pages. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:46, February 8, 2016 (UTC)

What? No, don't say that. As far as I know neither of us are in trouble. It is still an "official" list, but that doesn't apply to every tournament. It only applies obligatory to major ones, I think. Hence why I made those questions to UltiK. For important tournaments, the restrictions apply, so how can we provide that info on the card pages? Pendulum (talkcontribs) 12:28, February 8, 2016 (UTC)

Before you make any more new articles, please look at Talk:Yu-Gi-Oh! Generation Duel Lists - Classic Format. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:59, June 9, 2016 (UTC)

Just a brief pause, we're currently here for discussion.
"Generation Duel Tournament Lists - GX Format‎" --> "Generation Duel Tournament - GX Lists"? Remember that quote I mentioned, "The Generation Duel Tournament is a Modified Advanced Format... event." Because of that, I don't think "Format" should be included in the article names. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:32, June 9, 2016 (UTC)
Well, actually, go with the current naming scheme, but keep in mind that the names could change again after some discussion. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:34, June 9, 2016 (UTC)
That's fine. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:39, June 9, 2016 (UTC)

Uploading images[edit]

Hi there. Thanks for uploading the Chinese card images. When uploading card images, could you use the {{OCG-TCG card image}}, please? You just have to insert the following at the "Summary" field when at Special:Upload:

{{OCG-TCG card image
| name =

Just put the name of the card there. Also, if an image is watermarked, it has to be noted with a watermark parameter.
So, for instance, for the TatakawaKnight-LTGY-TC-C.png you uploaded, it would be something like:

{{OCG-TCG card image
| name = Tatakawa Knight
| watermark = 1

Here you have it. Besides, by doing this, you don't choose any "Licensing".
If you have any questions, please ask. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 10:35, August 3, 2016 (UTC)

Worlds 2016 banlist[edit]

Do you want to make a page for it? It's not just a combination of the TCG and OCG lists; it actually has some unique new cards there as well. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:12, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

There are already names for it in the lists template already. Here's the 2015 list. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 19:24, August 20, 2016 (UTC)
I would have given you the link for the 2014 lists if I knew it, but then again, I haven't started looking for it. My preference is that the naming scheme should follow the naming scheme for how the Wiki names the World Championships, which is "World Championship 20XX", in accordance to the championship's consistent logo (which has had different wording in official media talking about the championship though). But you can ask someone like Dinoguy or Delt for their opinion too. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 04:30, August 21, 2016 (UTC)
Any reason you didn't include the "Special Rule" cards in the actual 2014 list, only mentioning them at the top of the page? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 16:15, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Status list card counts[edit]

How come you've been removing the card counts from the status lists? I don't see any obvious reason for it myself. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 11:39, September 4, 2016 (UTC)

Updated GDT Lists[edit]

Apparently sometime in August, the Generation Duels Tournament lists were updated (if the urls of the .pdf files can be trusted). Would you mind updating them? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:51, September 14, 2016 (UTC)

Unsure why no reply, but here's a convenient comparison list that I made. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:40, September 25, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Different Way[edit]

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I greatly appreciate it!
Yeah, the F&L status table is something I need to either redo entirely or give a good revamp. I don't like it either; not only because of that. I need to think carefully on how to change it. Thanks again! I'll make sure to change that thing. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:42, December 9, 2016 (UTC)

It's fine by me, of course! There may be some issues, though. That wiki doesn't have some extensions this one has and I'm making use of; like Extension:Variables or Extension:Arrays. Some CSS pages would have to be imported also. But that's all feasible. The thing is, I'm still editing my template, it's not complete. So I would suggest for you to wait some time before importing it to other places. Besides, I still haven't tested it properly. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 13:24, December 10, 2016 (UTC)
Don't worry, you don't sound rude. And don't worry with the importing process; I'll take care of it (probably along with other people, since there's some stuff I'm not too comfortable with myself). I'll let you know when I have it almost ready (may take some time, though). Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 15:11, December 10, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks! What do you mean exactly with the red links? The ones near the end? If so, they're only there because I don't want to hide them for now; they help me checking which info is being stored semantically when previewing a page. In case you mean the "Related pages", I could only display them if the page for them already exists, but that would be either expensive (in terms of functions) or would have to rely on SMW, which is too risky. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 02:35, December 31, 2016 (UTC)
We can't start using this template yet for several reasons. To start, it's not complete. Lots of styles should be changed to CSS and that's something I won't do for now; only at the end. I may have stuff missing regarding secondary parameters; that's something I need to carefully check. I still have to test it more, on some niche cases. Still doesn't support the "(original)" versions of the Egyptian Gods correctly. It still has some properties missing. And it still needs some visual changes, mostlikely. But, above all, some OCG/TCG cards still have parameters regarding some video games or the D Team manga and those parameters are functional. My template does not support them nor is intended to support them. Which means the cards using those parameters need to be cleaned first. RE:SPYRAL GEAR Solid[edit]

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I can't help you much; I'm not into Metal Gear. I see you noticed the messages left on Talk:SPYRAL. The Metal Gear wiki having theories about a relation to this archetype doesn't necessarily mean there is a relation. However, I suppose you could bump your message on that talk page by pointing to which pages on the Metal Gear wiki support the relation and go into detail on why you think there are relations. Kaiju Rulings[edit]

Quick question; is Super Anti-Kaiju War Machine Mecha-Dogoran a kaiju? His name is 'anti-kaiju' not 'kaiju' so... Pikazilla (talkcontribs) 15:48, January 2, 2017 (UTC)

To check if it's part of an archetype, you need to check if the archetype name is present on the card name (this is done with the Japanese names, which may mean some cards on the TCG, despite having an archetype English name on their English name, are not part of that archetype; but I'm trying to keep this simple). To be part of "Kaiju", it needs to contain "Kaiju" on the card name. Does "Super Anti-Kaiju War Machine Mecha-Dogoran" contain "Kaiju"? Yes; therefore, it's part of "Kaiju".
You can also ask rulings questions on the forum; they might be seen by more users there. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 16:04, January 2, 2017 (UTC)

RE:SPYRAL GEAR Solid[edit]

No. I really dislike this sort of thing, as people can go and say that "Thunder Kid" looks like it was based on Pikachu. There's a vague resemblance, true, but there's no strong evidence pointing towards it. Quik-Fix and Master Plan being based on Q and M respectively actually has some basis, as their unique names start with the same letters. Super Agent being based on James Bond is also more likely due to the "fashionable" clothing he's wearing and the nifty gadgets in the background. Solid Snake has no relationship to that, other than gadgets, so don't even bother pointing that out. I don't like that you present "CQC" again, because it's a generic concept. Same with the expensive sports car thing; it can no longer be considered unique in the various spy-themed franchises, and belongs neither to James Bond or Metal Ger. The drone = Cipher thing, sure, I don't recall any other notable spy series using drones. Fine, Quik-Fix and Master Plan can be shoehorned in due to their resemblances. Resort Staff is a no @Metal Gear, since she gives no indication of having military experience. She appears to represent the "love interest" archetype of spy franchises, including James Bond.
I still think it's a very good idea to get that info off the page and instead onto their individual card pages, since random people will always feel the need to fill in the blanks. Additionally, people will be unable to see the reasons for each entry (unlike on Trivia pages), and will change them often because of this. Adding the reasons on the same page crowds up the page. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:58, January 2, 2017 (UTC)

Japanese lore[edit]

Please don't guess what a card's Japanese anime lore is. If you're not sure, tag it with Template:Lore in need of transcription. They are not always the same as the OCG. (RE: Power Bond (anime).) --SnorlaxMonster 05:52, August 8, 2017 (UTC)

Re: Template Permission[edit]

Sorry, I didn't realise you asked me to reply on your talk page, last time you asked. You can see my initial reply on my talk page. I'll quote it here as well:

Good luck on the new wiki.
Content posted here is done under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License. (More details at w:Licensing.) So you can copy them as long as attribution is given to the original authors. Attribution on wikis is usually done through page histories, so if you just say something like copied from Template:Decklist in the edit summary when you create the page, anyone checking the page history on your wiki will know they can find the earlier page history via that link. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:13, August 30, 2017 (UTC)

Template:Episode probably won't work when you copy it over. Your site needs to have Semantic MediaWiki installed to use that. You could try basing your template on something more simple like w:c:avatar:Template:Cite episode. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:51, October 12, 2017 (UTC)

I think you should be able to copy Round16 from one Wikia site to anther, without needing anything extra. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:05, October 13, 2017 (UTC)
It's a Wikipedia template, so it's in the Creative Commons. It can be copied as long as attribution is given. See the edit summary from when it was originally copied to here and the "This page uses Creative Commons Licensed content from Wikipedia" box on the Fanfiction Wiki copy.
If you copy the Fanfiction Wiki version, you won't need anything else. If you copy this wiki's version, you will also need to copy Template:Citation/core. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:21, October 22, 2017 (UTC)
It's not that you need my explicit permission or that my explicit permission makes a difference. It's what the licensing allows for.
Almost all original content people write for this wiki, including templates, is published in the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License, meaning you can copy and re-use it, as long as the original authors are credited. That's why I'm saying to link back to the original page in your edit summary, so someone clicking "History" will see where the content originally came from.
Stuff like card images and card texts are not considered Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License, because they weren't originally created by editors of the wiki. They're used here under the fair use policy. Your wiki should be able to use them too, without crediting this wiki, as long as you are not infringing on Konami, Shueisha etc.
Details like a card's ATK, DEF and Level are simple facts. You should be able to copy them without worrying about licencing.

Yes, that's correct. You can see the MediaWiki signs in the bottom-right corner of any page. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:37, 23 January 2018 (UTC)

Status lists changes table sorting[edit]

The order I sorted the changes table on September 2018 Lists by was card name → old status → card type → new status. As I recall, this is approximately the sorting we'd been using on these tables in the past, though admittedly I haven't paid them close attention for some time, and easily could have missed if it was decided that the sort order should be changed. By contrast, your sort order is card name → new status, right? I think the table would look better by sorting by old status between card name and new status, but that might just be me. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 11:33, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

Copying from Wikia[edit]

In general, we discourage copying from Wikia, as you did with Forbidden and the other status pages. In this particular case, copying was fine, because it was non-prose content which you yourself had written, but you should have taken more care to ensure that no extraneous changes got copied as well; please keep this in mind in the future. ディノ千?!☎ Dinoguy1000 07:34, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

Psychid45 edits[edit]

I just realized that you're Psychid45 when I was looking at the edit history of your userpage and saw the rename. After that, I saw that the rename happened on November 20, 2017, which was right around the time we were importing edits for the fork, and after checking, sure enough, there are lots of edits (over a thousand at least) still attributed to your old name. Unless you don't want me to, I plan to temporarily rename your account back to Psychid45 to reattribute those edits to it; can you give me a time when you'll be offline or otherwise not working on the wiki, so I won't have to worry about interrupting any of your editing? ディノ千?!☎ Dinoguy1000 07:16, 23 November 2019 (UTC)

Sorry for responding so late; I was watching my parents' house last night. But I did get your message about the whole "Psychid45 edits" thing; but can I ask what you mean by that? Are you saying you want to rename my account "Psychid45" to do the necessary changes you have to do? --Yes, it's THE-PSYCHID! He talks! He does stuff! 18:32, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
Only temporarily, but yes. I don't think it'll take even an hour, but there's always the chance of something unexpected coming up, so it'd be better to give me a larger block of time for this work (probably the best would be when you'll be asleep). ディノ千?!☎ Dinoguy1000 19:18, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
Alright. But I think the best time to do it would be tomorrow, as I'll be at work. The time range for that would be from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. or later, New York time. Would that work? --Yes, it's THE-PSYCHID! He talks! He does stuff! 20:39, 24 November 2019 (UTC)

Offerings to the Snake Deity[edit]

Does Chinese YGO news really debut at I see the watermark in the bottom-right, so I like to assume it originated from elsewhere. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:51, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

My point being, it's better to have an image that's directly from the source, rather than use a reposted image with an unofficial forum's watermark slapped on it. It'd be like using an image from YGO News with their watermark/logo on it. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 16:42, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
Whatever's convenient for you. At least from now on, there shouldn't be unnecessary watermarks from 3rd parties, if you can avoid it. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:34, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
The quotation marks will be fixed in a bot run; it's just a matter of accumulating enough miscellaneous tasks (first) for the bot run to accomplish, so we can make fixes in the least amount of edits. No, I personally don't know when that will be, as I don't handle the bots. But the people who handle the bots are aware of the quotation mark issue. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:17, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
