- This card can be searched by "Time Maiden", "Infinite Light", "Celestial Knightlord Parshath", "Frontline Observer", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card can work well with "Clashing Souls" to drag down the opponent's LP. This is because this monster has 0 ATK, meaning that its controller will typically pay a large amount of LP for the effect of "Clashing Souls", resulting in a higher LP differential for this card's effect to take advantage of. Furthermore, since "Hailon" cannot be destroyed by battle, "Clashing Souls" won't be able to send it to the Graveyard, allowing for the effect of "Hailon" to activate at the end of the Battle Phase.
- "Piri Reis Map" works well with this card, as the Spell halves one's LP after using it, allowing for this card's effect to take advantage of the LP differential.
