- This card may have been what the "Crystal Beast"'s "crystallizing" effect was based on, though this card has somewhat of an opposite effect, as its Special Summons itself to the field when destroyed in the Spell and Trap Card Zone.
- This card and "Silver Sentinel" are the only non-"Artifact" monsters that can be set as a Spell Card.
- This card resembles many "Wind-Up" monsters, as they are also based on toys, although they are based on clockwork toys, while the Toy archetype more closely resembles action figures and wooden toys.
- In "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2" and "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3", a character setting this card in the Spell/Trap Zone will always say "I'm setting a monster" or a similar dialogue, then proceed to set a card in the Spell/Trap Zone, making it obvious they're setting this card.
- This card resembles Geno from Super Mario RPG.
