- This is Luna's dragon. As a little girl, Luna dreamed that this dragon watched over her. She later encounters her in the Ancient Forest which has been destroyed by Professor Frank, and the dragon is sealed in a mountain. When Luna regains her free will, the dragon breaks free and attempts to destroy Frank, whose presence causes the forest to degrade. In the human world, this card is seen in the hands of the leader of the Dark Signers, Rudger.
- In the Japanese version, she is voiced by Mika Doi.
- In the English version, she is voied by Veronica Taylor.
- It is revealed during Luna's dream sequence that this dragon was taken captive by the Earthbound Gods after their battle with the Five Dragons and the Crimson Dragon. This explains why the card is in the possession of Rudger, leader of the Dark Signers. The reason as to why this particular dragon was taken has yet to be revealed, but it may have something to do with the fact that Ancient Fairy Dragon's ability allows it to destroy a Field Spell Card, which coicidentally is a big advantage against the Earthbound Gods.
