Introduction
Light of Destruction (LODT) is the 27th Booster Pack released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, and the 8th of the OCG Series 5 Booster Packs. It includes 80 cards in the OCG, and 100 cards in the TCG, the additional ones being 10 former OCG-exclusive cards and 10 TCG-exclusive cards. This set focuses on LIGHT Attribute monsters featuring Sartorius' Arcana Force cards and the Lightsworns. This pack also features cards used by Jaden Yuki, Aster Phoenix, Jesse Anderson and Vellian Crowler. The Cover Card is Honest. This set was followed by The Duelist Genesis, the first set from Series 6.

Trivia

Even though Season 4 of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX has not aired in English, the booster box still shows Jaden with his Academy-Issued, Red-Trimmed Duel Disk, and his new "look" in Season 4.
