• Harpie's Pet Dragon may be "The Dragon who never sleeps", that Medea summoned to protect the "Golden Fleece" in Greek Mythology. In the Myth of Jason and the Argonauts, Jason had to fight against the Harpies and this Dragon to obtain the Golden Fleece.

• "Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon" appears to be a baby version of "Harpie's Pet Dragon".

• This card is one of the only "Harpie" related cards that hasn't been censored in the TCG.
