"Elemental HERO Thunder Giant":
  • Jaden first played this monster in his duel against Alexis. Jaden summons this card through "Fusion Gate". Alexis then pointed out to him that her "Cyber Blader" is still stronger than his monster, but Jaden revealed Thunder Giant's effect can destroy a monster whose original ATK is less than his. This allowed Jaden to destroy "Cyber Blader" with this card's effect. He then used "Thunder Giant" to attack Alexis directly and win the duel.
  • Jaden next uses this card in his duel with Titan. He summons this card through "Polymerization". He then tried to destroy Terrorking Archfiend with this card's effect, but this activates "Terrorking's ability". Titan gets a five so "Terrorking"'s effect negates this card's effect and destroys it.
  • During his practice duel with Syrus Truesdale, Jaden summons this card with "Polymerization" once more. He then uses this card's effect to destroy Syrus' Steam Gyroid. Jaden then summons his "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix". Jaden then has both of his monsters attack Syrus directly, winning him the duel.
  • Jaden uses this card during his first duel with Zane Truesdale. It is again summoned through "Polymerization". Jaden then uses this card's effect to destroy Zane's Cyber Dragon. Jaden then has this card attack Zane directly. Zane then destroys this card with Cyber Twin Dragon.
  • Jaden uses this card in his duel against Beauregard disguised as the Duel Giant. It is once again summoned through "Polymerization". Jaden then uses this card's effect to destroy "Giant Orc". He then has this card attack and destroy a "Half-Goblin". Jaden then uses "De-Fusion" to defuse this card back into "Sparkman" and "Clayman".
  • Jaden next used this card in his duel against Dimitri while the latter was using Yugi's deck. It is once again summoned through "Polymerization". Jaden then used this card's effect to destroy "Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast". Dimitri then used "Chimera"'s effect to summon "Berfomet". Jaden then has this card attack and destroy "Berfomet". Dimitri then played "Swords of Revealing Light" to prevent Jaden from attacking with this card. Jaden then switches this card to Defense Position. This card was later destoryed by the effect of "Thousand Knives".
  • This card appeared in Bastion's database while he was trying to find a weakness in Jaden's Deck.
  • Jaden uses this card in his first duel against Nightshroud. It is summoned again through "Polymerization". Jaden then has this card attack "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". Both battling monsters then destroyed each other as they both had the same amount of ATK.
  • Jaden uses this card in his duel against Tania. It is once again summoned through "Polymerization". Jaden then uses this card's effect to destroy "Amazoness Paladin". Jaden then has this card attack Tania directly. Tania then uses "Amazoness Call" to defuse this card back into "Sparkman" and "Clayman".
  • Jaden uses this card in his duel against the Admiral. It is once again summoned through "Polymerization". Jaden then uses this card's effect to destroy "Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness". He then has this card attack the Admiral directly. This card is later destroyed by the effect of "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus".
  • Jaden uses this card in his second duel with Aster. It is summoned via "Fusion Gate"'s effect. Jaden then attempts to use this card's effect to destroy "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude", but "Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster"'s effect prevents "Diamond Dude"'s destruction. This card is then destroyed by "Dreadmaster", causing Jaden to lose the duel.
  • Jaden uses this card in his duel against Alice. It is once again summoned via "Polymerization". Jaden then uses this card's effect to destroy "Doll Chimera". Alice then uses the latter's effect to bring it back. A bit later Jaden uses "Battle by 2" to double this card's ATK. This card then attacks "Doll Chimera" whose ATK was 4800 due to its effect. Both battling monsters are then destroyed since they both had the same amount of ATK.
  • Jaden uses this card in his duel against Scarr. It is once again summoned via "Polymerization". Jaden then uses this card's effect to destroy "Archfiend Soldier" by discarding "Elemental HERO Necroshade". This card then attacks Scarr directly. Scarr then attacks this card with "Fusion Devourer" whose effect makes this card's ATK 0 during the Damage Step. "Fusion Devourer" then destroys this card.
  • Its attack in the anime is called Voltic Thunder, and its special effect is called Vapor Sparks.
  • In episode 23, this card can be seen when Jaden rebuilds his Deck. Two copies of this card can be seen when Jaden is shown doing this.
