  • In episode 156, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Rafael has when he explains his backstory to Yami Yugi. A younger Rafael is shown obtaining this card as a birthday present from his siblings while on a cruise trip. However a tidal wave suddenly sweeps Rafael off the ship and he was left stranded on an island. This card, "Grarl", and "Kay'est" then became the spirits that would protect and help him while he was on the island. The three cards were nearly swept off into the ocean, but Rafael saves them and keeps them close to a fire to dry them off. After a while, Rafael rows to a new island on a new raft, but gets stopped by a pillar of light. When he wakes up, he finds himself lying on his raft, but a boat comes to his rescue. After Rafael returns to civilization, he soon meets the voice he heard while on the raft. The island that he saw before comes into view and Dartz offers Rafael to help him rebuild civilization to how it should have been. He creates a pillar path that Rafael and his three Guardians walk on as they head towards the island.
  • In episode 158, Rafael played this card in his duel with Yami Yugi. He was able to summon it since "Celestial Sword - Eatos" was on the field and he had no monsters in his Graveyard. He then used "Backup Gardna"'s to equip this card with "Celestial Sword". Rafael then activated this card's effect, sending "Celestial Sword" to the Graveyard to remove five monsters in Yami's Graveyard from play. This card's ATK was then increased by the total ATK of the removed monsters. This card then destroyed "Kuribabylon", causing him to lose the duel.
  • In episode 160, Guardian Eatos equip with "Celestial Sword - Eatos" appeared in a flashback when it attack Yami Yugi directly.
  • In episode 163, this card appears in a dream that Yami Yugi has when he remembers losing against Rafael and Yugi letting "The Seal of Orichalcos" take his soul instead of Yami's.
  • In episode 175, Rafael played this card in his duel against Yami Yugi. He summoned this card after getting "Celestial Sword - Eatos" on the field and meeting Eatos' requirements to Summon it. Like Yami's "Dark Magician" in Rafael and Yami Yugi's first duel, this card was shown being corrupted by the power of the Orichalcos. This card then gained 500 ATK due to "The Seal of Orichalcos". Rafael then used the effect of "Backup Gardna" to equip "Celestial Sword" to this card instead, increasing its ATK by 300. After Yami Yugi activated "Kuribandit"'s effect by tributing it, Rafael activated this card's effect, sending "Celestial Sword" to the Graveyard to remove from play three of the monsters Yami sent to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by the ATK of the removed monsters. This in turn gets rid of the boost "Celestial Sword" gave to this card, but it also in turn increased this card's ATK to 7000. Rafael then tried to deal the finishing blow by having this card destroy "Dark Magician", but Yami uses the effect of the "Electromagnetic Turtle" in his Graveyard to end the Battle Phase. This card's ATK went back to normal on Rafael's End Phase. On Rafael's next turn he tried to use this card to attack "Dark Magician", but Yami used "Magical Hats" to conceal his monster and randomize his monster with 2 tokens along with his "Big Shield Gardna" which was subsequently destroyed by Eatos. On his next turn Yami destroyed this card with "Amulet Dragon", causing the darkness in Rafael's heart to corrupt him and allowing Rafael to Special Summon "Guardian Dreadscythe". Later in the next episode, Yami used "Spider Web" to take "Monster Reborn" from Rafael's Graveyard and add it to his hand. Yami then used "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon this card. Yami then merged "The Claw of Hermos" with "Queen's Knight" to create "Goddess Bow" which Yami then equips to this card, doubling its ATK. Since this card was removed from the Graveyard, "Dreadscythe"'s ATK is decreased to 5000. Yami then used this card to attack "Dreadscythe". This would have destroyed both monsters, but Rafael activated his "Dreadscythe"'s effect, discarding a card to negate "Dreadscythe"'s destruction. Yami then activates the effect of "Goddess Bow", negating the Battle Damage that would have been dealt to him and preventing this card from being destroyed by the attack as well as allowing this card to attack again everytime it failed to destroy "Dreadscythe" because of its effect. This continues until Rafael runs out of cards in his hand and once that happened "Dreadscythe" and this card were destroyed since they had equal ATK. By doing all of this, Yami Yugi was able to help Rafael regain control of himself. Guided by this card, Rafael chose to remove all the monsters in his Graveyard and willingly lose the duel. Since Yami Yugi did not have "Celestial Sword - Eatos" in his hand or Deck, it is unclear how he was able to Summon it, but it was possibly the force of Eatos's spirit trying to save Rafael from the dark powers of the Orichalcos.
  • This card is seen in Rafael's flashbacks, one of which showed this card being given to him by his siblings while they were on a cruise trip. Another time this card was shown was when Rafael went in the cemetery and this card got transformed into "Guardian Dreadscythe".
  • In episode 179, Rafael uses the power of "The Seal of Orichalcos" and his Guardian Eatos equipped with "Celestial Sword - Eatos" to destroy "The Seal of Orichalcos". But in the end, it didn't work and Rafael's soul was then trapped in "The Seal of Orichalcos".
