- In the Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters saga, Joey Wheeler merged together with this card but when he merged with it his mind became controlled by the evil powers of the sword that was controlling Red-Eyes B. Dragon.
- This was Joey's favorite card that he originally obtained from Rex Raptor. Later, he gave it to Yugi Mutou to help fight Marik. When Yugi defeated Marik, Joey got it back.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, this card was favored by Nightshroud when he duelled Jaden and Zane.
- In the third season of GX, Atticus Rhodes had banished the darkness but still declared Red-Eyes B. Dragon as his strongest monster when he used it to open the fourth dimension.
