Seto Kaiba uses this card at least twice throughout the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime in conjunction with Lord of D. to get out his Blue-Eyes White Dragon without sacrificing weaker monsters.

When Seto Kaiba used this card while dueling Yugi in the Battle City Finals, it allowed Yugi to Special Summon "Red-Eyes B. Dragon", (The card Joey let him have during the Battle City Tournament).

- The Flute of Summoning Dragon allowed the opponent to Special Summon Dragon-type monsters also, although this was only demonstrated during the Battle City Grand Final.
