- Unlike the Japanese version, when Kaiba used the effect of "Tyrant Burst Dragon" on "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in the dub, he said that he was combining the two monsters into an advanced version of itself named "Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon".

- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 167: "Flight of Fear - Part 2", Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Alister. He Special Summons this card by fusing "Tyrant Wing" with "Fang of Critias". Kaiba then banishes this card and "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in order to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon".
