- In the anime, the Synchro Monsters are treated as if they were Synchro Summoned and kept their effects.
- In episode 24, Akiza Izinski used this card in her Ground Duel against Yusei Fudo. She uses it to revive "Black Rose Dragon". She then activated its effect, destroying all cards on the field, but Yusei Tributes "Stardust Dragon" to negate the effect and destroy "Black Rose Dragon". This in turn destroyed this card too. On Akiza's End Phase, "Black Rose Dragon" was revived due to one of this card's effects while "Stardust Dragon" got revived due to its own effect.
- In the dub, she mistakenly calls this card "Dark Tuning".
- In episode 99, Akiza used this card in her Turbo Duel against Andre. When Andre activates the effect of "Speed World 2" to remove 4 Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Akiza for each Speed Spell in his hand(he had only "Speed Spell - The End of the Storm", so Akiza will take 800 damage), Akiza activates this card to pay 800 Life Points and Special Summon "Stardust Dragon" from the Graveyard. This makes Akiza lose, but thanks to her move, she was not only able to keep "Stardust Dragon" on the field, but she was also able to make Andre waste four of his Speed Counters. Akiza then passes the baton to Yusei who then moves forward to Duel Andre.
