• You can take control of an opponent's monster first, then at the End Phase (since most cards that take control of monsters last only until the end of the turn) give back the monster with 2000 less ATK (a net decrease of 1000).

• You can use this card on a DARK monster with an attack below 2000 but higher than 1000, that way before the End Phase, you can tribute it for the effect of "Deck Devastation Virus".
  • You can also do the same except with a DARK monster with an attack less than 2500 but higher than 1500 and "Eradicator Epidemic Virus".
  • Alternatively, you can use "Crush Card Virus" at the End Phase (Traditional Format only).

• You can use this card in a "Gladiator Beast" Deck, since all Gladiator Beast monsters return to the deck after they battle at the End of Battle Phase.

• After you've declared a direct attack, activate this card during the Damage Step and the attack will continue.

• After you activate this card, set "Power Frame" or "Mirror Mail" to prepare the targeted monster against an attack.

• Use this card with "Reverse Trap". Just before your end phase, activate Reverse Trap to end up with a permanent 3000 ATK boost.

• Use this card to either "Ebon Magician Curran" or "White Magician Pikeru" equipped with "Trial of the Princesses", it will have 3000 ATK to destroy most Level 5 or higher monsters and triggering "Trial of the Princesses's" effect to Special Summon either "Princess Curran" or "Princess Pikeru" to avoid this card's last effect.
