Contents
Summoning[edit]
- Many monsters that are useful to send to the Graveyard when Summoning this card include "Sangan", "Night Assailant" and "Necro Defender".
- "Duke Shade, the Sinister Shadow Lord" can be used as part of the summoning cost while also recovering a high-Level DARK Fiend-Type monster from the Graveyard. It can add this card from the Graveyard to the hand as well.
- Similarly, "Ahrima, the Wicked Warden" can search for it from the Deck.
- "Savage Colosseum" and "Yang Zing Path" force the opponent to attack, leading to an easier summon of "Darkness Neosphere" and forcing them to attack it.
- Use Fiend-Type monsters that Summon other Fiends, like "Stygian Security", so your opponent will be tempted to attack over and over. This will help thin out your Deck and will always have your conditions met for this card's Summoning costs.
- "Call of the Archfiend" can trade Fiend-Type monsters in the hand for Fiend-Type monsters on the field.
Using with other cards[edit]
- If summoning this card is unfeasible, use it as Fusion Material for "Evil HERO Dark Gaia".
- As a Fiend-Type monster that can manage your Trap Cards, it can be used in a "Sacred Beast" Deck.
- This card can be surprisingly useful in a "Koa'ki Meiru"-based Deck. The card's Summoning cost can easily be paid, since "Koa'ki Meirus" revolve around keeping monsters with same type in hand and field, and its effect can be abused with "Core Reinforcement" and "Koa'ki Meiru Valafar".
- Target this card with the effect of "Evil HERO Infernal Gainer" to deal massive damage. Against a field with no monsters, this is a OTK.
- Use "Mound of the Bound Creator" in conjunction with this card to protect it from most effects and deal additional damage while keeping its ATK and protection from battle.
Using this card with Continuous Trap Cards.[edit]
- "Imperial Custom" will cause these cards to be even harder to get rid of.
- "Call of the Haunted", "Birthright" or "Soul Resurrection" to revive more monsters. Returning "Call of the Haunted" keeps it from being rendered useless if the Special Summoned monster left the field without being destroyed.
- "Powerful Rebirth" can only summon Level 4 or lower monsters, but unlike the previously mentioned cards, it will not destroy the Special Summoned monster if returned to the hand.
- "Mistake", to stop cards from being added from the Deck to the hand.
- "Anti-Spell Fragrance" to restrict Spell usage, and "Imperial Order" to shut it down almost entirely while halving its maintenance cost.
- "Royal Decree" to shut down Trap Cards.
- "Gravity Bind", "Depth Amulet" and "Red Screen" to selectively stop attacks.
- "Mask of Restrict" to prevent all forms of Tributing. It also protects "Darkness Neosphere" from "Kaijus" and "Lair of Darkness".
- "Tour of Doom" to prevent your opponent from Normal or Flip Summoning half of the time without suffering from the downside yourself.
- "Light of Intervention" can be used to prevent monsters from being Set.
- "Spirit Barrier" to protect your Life Points.
- "Macro Cosmos" to force cards to be banished, and "Imperial Iron Wall" to control when cards cannot banished.
- "Summon Limit" to restrict Summoning.
Traditional Format[edit]
- "Royal Oppression" and "Vanity's Emptiness" can be used with this card to control Special Summoning.
