- Use Fiend-Type or "The Wicked Dreadroot" along with Rock-Type or "Granmarg the Rock Monarch" as Fusion Material monsters to make a very powerful "Evil Hero Dark Gaia".
- Or you can use weaker but more versatile monsters like "Fossil Tusker", "Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World", "Sillva, Warlord of Dark World" and "Evil Hero Malicious Edge". This will give you a backup plan if you don't get the pieces for the OTK.
- Combine "Evil Hero Dark Gaia" with "Ojama Trio". Since he forces all of your opponent's monsters into Attack Position, they will have no choice but to take the full ATK of "Evil Hero Dark Gaia".
